New Bundaberg Hospital CPB Contractors has been selected by the Queensland Government to deliver the New Bundaberg Hospital in Bundaberg, Queensland. This modern facility will provide world-class healthcare services and improve access for local communities.

The Stage 1 contract involves design and early works, with main construction to start in Stage 2. The new hospital will feature acute, medical, surgical and mental health services, as well as emergency, clinical support services, and associated infrastructure.

CPB Contractors brings extensive experience in the delivery of state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities, with a deep affinity to Bundaberg and the Wide Bay-Burnett region.

The New Bundaberg Hospital project scope of work includes:

Clinical building with helipad Facility support centre Mental health building Enclosed links, outbuildings and covered walkways External roads and on-grade car park

At its peak, the project will employ a workforce of approximately 500 people and generate more than 2,500 local jobs during construction. The delivery of the project will also focus on enhancing local capability through key opportunities in Indigenous employment, procurement, apprenticeships and traineeships.

CPB Contractors acknowledges the Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng, and Taribelang Bunda peoples as the traditional custodians of the land on which the New Bundaberg Hospital will be delivered, and pays respect to Elders past, present, and emerging.
